Natmauk’s Bogyoke Aung San residence museum packed with visitors

Photo records concerning Bogyoke Aung San were displayed at the residence museum of Bogyoke Aung San in Natmauk, Magway Region, on the 77th Martyrs’ Day. The photos recorded the young life of the General and the politician.
“Unlike previous years, we exhibited photo records that depict the young life of the General and politician on the 77th Martyrs’ Day at the residence museum of Bogyoke Aung San. We intended to expand the knowledge of young students, and we also exhibited the life history of nine heroes,” said U Ye Lin, staff officer of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum (Magway Branch).
At the residence museum of Bogyoke Aung San, photo records such as the old garage used by the General’s mother, looms of the General’s sister, the young life and politician life of the General, and a silicon statue of the General marking over 100 years.
Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Natmauk) is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm for the public except on Mondays and gazetted holidays. Moreover, the museum was open from 7 am to 5 pm on the 77th Martyrs’ Day. The department conducted a quiz session regarding Martyrs’ Day, and the department also awarded students and visitors who raised correct answers. — Theint Theint Moe/KTZH
