Nanning and Yangon sister cities to enhance cooperation

Consul-General of Myanmar in Nanning, Daw Khaing Su Lin, and Mayor of Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr Hou Gang, met on 25 June at the government office in Nanning to discuss matters pertaining to further promotion of friendship, cooperation, and bilateral exchanges between Nanning and Yangon, which are already sister cities.
At the meeting, Nanning Mayor Mr Hou Gang explained about Nanning City. Subsequently, both sides exchanged views on cooperation between Nanning City and Myanmar in agriculture, education, culture, enhancing trade and investment, participation of government officials and entrepreneurs at the 21st CAEXPO, and increasing cooperation between Nanning and Yangon cities. — ASH/TH
