Myanmar’s young directors, film editors attend filmmaking workshop in Viet Nam

The young and aspiring film talents from Myanmar attended the workshop of Film Leaders Incubator FLY2023 held in Viet Nam, according to director Min Thant Maung Maung.
The Korea Busan Film Commission organized the workshop from 1 to 15 November.
“The FLY is held yearly. It was also organized in Myanmar in 2014. The programme was suspended in 2019 due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and it resumed again. People from Myanmar attended it before,” said director Min Thant Maung Maung.
Myanmar youth director Min Thant Maung Maung, director Thuta Kan, and film editors Sein Lae Nandar and Nyan Phyo Aung joined the FLY 2023. Directors Min Thant Maung Maung and Thuta Kan attended the five-day post-production workshop, and Sein Lae Nandar and Nyan Phyo Aung participated in the 10-day full project.
Director Min Thant Maung Maung is an alumnus of the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles of the United States of America. — ASH/KTZH
