Myanmar Writers’ Association announces winners of second manuscript competition

The Myanmar Writers’ Association has announced the winners of the second manuscript competition.
In the poetry manuscript genre, the first prize went to Nay Chi Maung (Myaungmya). The second prize was awarded to Phone Ye Naing (Gangaw), and the third prize to Sittway Nyo Thant. The consolation prize (1) was awarded to Zagyan Ywa Kyaung Othar, consolation prize (2) went to Han Nyunt (Yin Kyay Hmu), and consolation prize (3) to Khet Zaw (Kabyar).
In the short story manuscript genre, Saw Nge Nge (Mohnyin) won the first prize. The second prize was awarded to Yoon Hnin Si Khaing, and the third prize went to Wai Lwin Myint Maung. The consolation prize (1) was awarded to San Win Aung (Myanaung), consolation prize (2) to Nann Hinn Pyinn, and consolation prize (3) to Zaw (Myeik). In the article genre, Shwe Htone Khin Thida Hlaing won the first prize. The second prize was awarded to Lin Aryon Oo (Bago), and the third prize to Thitsa Wadi U Myint Aung. The consolation prize (1) was awarded to Tekkatho Nann Phyu Phyu Tun, consolation prize (2) to Ma Shwe Chit (Lekaing), and consolation prize (3) to Maung Yi Kyaw (Yupa).
The winners of the manuscript competition must contact the Myanmar Writers’ Association in Kyauktada Township. The time, place, and date of the award ceremony will be announced soon. — TWA/KZL
