Myanmar wins gold at Altai Regatta Dragon Festival

Myanmar rowers bagged a gold medal at the Altai Regatta Dragon Festival held on 29 June in Barnaul, Russia.
Team Myanmar won the gold medal for the 200-metre 10 men rowers event while Indonesia secured silver and Cambodia bronze, the Philippines fourth and fifth place and Russia sixth.
Host Russia, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, and Myanmar competed in the game.
Myanmar teams, made up of 12 rowers, will also compete in 200-metre, 500-metre and 2,000-metre events till 1 July. — Arkar Linn/KZL
