Myanmar U-12 wins Junior Soccer World Challenge final

The U-12 Junior Soccer World Challenge continued on 22 August, with Myanmar securing a victory in their final match. Myanmar’s U-12 team defeated Japan’s Dragon Kashiwa team 1-0. This win allowed Myanmar to achieve a ranking after being eliminated from the 32-team fixture.
Myanmar’s performance in the group stage included two wins and one draw, which earned them first place in their group with seven points and advanced them to the next round. However, they did not progress to the last 16 due to a low score in the round of 32 teams. The final ranking for Myanmar will be determined once all games are completed. — Ko Nyi Lay/TRKM
