Myanmar to play against Mongolia today in Thailand Futsal Invitation Cup

Myanmar national futsal team will take on Mongolia team in their group opener of the Thailand Futsal Invitation Cup named NSDF Futsal Invitation Championship 2022 on 16 March (today).
The tournament kicked off on 15 March with Thailand and Iran making big wins in their group openers.
On the first day of the group, Iran defeated Mongolia by eight goals to nil while Thailand beat Maldives 8-3.
The competition is divided into two groups with Thailand, Oman, and Maldives are participating in Group A while Iran, Myanmar and Mongolia are placed in Group B.
Team Myanmar can advance to the semi-finals if they beat Mongolia today and will face Iran in the group stage match next.
According to the format of the tournament, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, while the bottom two teams will run for fifth place.
The Myanmar national Futsal team is competing in this invitational cup in preparation for the ASEAN Futsal Championship to be held in April, according to the Futsal officials. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
