Myanmar to compete in 2025 ASEAN Skills Competition

According to the Ministry of Labour, Myanmar will participate in the ASEAN Skills Competition, which will be held in the Philippines in 2025.
Myanmar will compete in six employment fields, including information and communication technology, manufacturing and engineering, construction and building technology, social and personal services, creative arts and fashion, and transportation and logistics.
The deputy minister for labour stated that 92 skill standards have been approved across 70 job types for the skill development process. Additionally, from 2014 to date, 26,969 skilled workers, 275 assessment centres, 102 inspectors, and 866 assessors have been certified in 52 job types. — TWA/MKKS
