Myanmar students participate in “We Are the BRIDGE Festival 2024” in Japan

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, students from Myanmar participated in the international children’s friendship festival, “We are the BRIDGE Festival 2024,” held in Fukuoka, Japan.
The festival was organized by the Asia-Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) in Fukuoka as part of the Bridge Kids Summer Camp Program. It took place at Lalaport Fukuoka Park on 19 July as an international children’s friendship exchange project.
Children aged 11 to 12 from over 30 nations, including Japan, took part in the festival. The Bridge Kids Summer Camp Program fosters friendship between Japanese and international students. Four students from Myanmar participated in the celebration, representing No. 1 Basic Education High School (Dagon Township), Kamayut Practising High School (Yangon University of Education), and No. 2 Basic Education High School (Mingaladon Township), also known as Aung San Thuriya Hla Thaung School. — ASH/MKKS
