Myanmar, Saudi Arabia football federations sign MoU for football development cooperation

The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) signed a Memorandum of Understaning-MoU for cooperation in football development on the evening of 15 May at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
At the ceremony, U Zaw Zaw, president of the Myanmar Football Federation, and Yasser Al Misehal, president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, signed the agreement.
The meeting discussed national team camp training, exchange of training methods and football tactics, and planning matches between youth national teams and women’s and futsal national teams and clubs by balancing the football calendar, football league management and player development techniques plus the development of Myanmar football through cooperation such as launching football courses.
After signing the MoU, AFC Senior Vice-President U Zaw Zaw continued to attend the executive meeting of the Asian Football Confederation. The Myanmar Football Federation delegation will attend the 34th Asian Football Confederation Congress to be held on 16 May in Bangkok, Thailand, and the 74th FIFA Congress to be held on 17 May. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
