Myanmar National Education Conference 2024 concludes successfully

The Plenary Session of the third-day Myanmar National Education Conference 2024 took place at the Myanmar International Convention Centre II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, directors-general, rectors, deputy directors-general, experts, professors, resource persons, and relevant officials attended the event.
The event featured six Parallel Sessions, which submitted summary papers on six papers respectively under the titles of the emergence of youths who love the country in the basic education sector, turning out of qualified, educated persons in the higher education sector, exploration of vocational development that prioritizes manufacturing, successive promotion of quality of teachers, development of research and innovation and the emergence of the qualified and guaranteed education system.
In his concluding remark, the Union minister called for active and balanced cooperation in implementing short-and long-term plans, saying the teachers are the ones who can enhance the skills of students and guide them in the right direction. Thus, teachers should cooperate to ensure the success of the conference. — MNA/KTZH
