Myanmar MoH delegation embarks on AHS medical conference in Thailand

Myanmar’s Ministry of Health delegates seen before departing for Thailand yesterday.

The Myanmar delegation headed by Professor Dr Ko Ko from the Ministry of Health, chairman of the Myanmar Association of Hormonology Physicians, left for Thailand yesterday to attend the 22nd ASEAN Hormonology Society Medical Conference to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 16 to 19 November.
The medical conference of the ASEAN Hormonology Association is organized by seven member countries of ASEAN. At the conference, Professor Dr Mo Wint Aung from the Myanmar Hormonology Medical Association, Medical specialists Dr Khin Myo Aung and Dr Nyo Soe Myint will participate in the discussion as keynote speakers.
Having the opportunity to participate in such a discussion, ASEAN countries can exchange views on conditions of hormone and diabetes treatment in Myanmar in a friendly manner. At the conference, hormonal medicine experts from international and ASEAN countries will discuss and present the latest treatments and research findings, so the information obtained from the conference can be shared among Myanmar medical experts. — MNA/TS
