Myanmar-Japan company donates school, road for Thilawa SEZ

The Myanmar-Japan Thilawa Development (MJTD) Company held a ceremony yesterday in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone to announce their donation of a new two-storey building for Myaing Thaya Sub-Basic Education High School and a new concrete road in Myaing Thaya 3 ward.
U Thein Han, chairman of the MJTD, said the two-storey building with furniture, a fence and a tube well is worth more than Ks247 million, while the 1,900 ft long, 12 ft wide concrete road is worth more than Ks57.7 million. The ceremony was attended by Chairman of Thilawa SEZ Management Committee and Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Set Aung, Deputy Chairman of Thilawa SEZ Management Committee, Yangon Region minister of electricity, industry, roads and communication Daw Nilar Kyaw, officials from education department and MJTD and invited guests.
