Myanmar imports over 5,600 tonnes of fertilizer in July’s first week

Over 5,600 tonnes of fertilizer worth US$3.734 million were imported to Myanmar in the first week of July.
From 2 to 8 July 2022, over 3,180 tonnes of fertilizer worth US$2.219 million were imported through the sea route and over 2,500 tonnes of fertilizer worth US$1.515 million via land borders.
By the sea, over 1,300 tonnes were from China, 600 tonnes from Thailand, and 120 tonnes from Germany. By the border crossings, over 1,300 tonnes from Thailand, over 700 tonnes from India, and over 500 tonnes from China. — TWA/GNLM
