Myanmar filmmakers invited to Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Art & Design Awards

According to the Embassy of China to Myanmar, Myanmar’s short filmmakers have been invited to submit their short films for the 2024 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Art & Design Award.
This international competition, organized by China News Service, commemorates the eighth anniversary of The Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) mechanism. The LMC is a sub-regional cooperation jointly initiated by the Lancang-Mekong countries.
The competition’s theme is “Green Power, Lancang-Mekong’s New Day”, and it runs from 24 April to the end of September, which is the deadline for submitting video films.
Participants in the competition are required to document the diverse environment and people-to-people exchanges between the six countries located along both sides of the Lancang-Mekong River.
