Myanmar Equestrian Federation holds workshop on Equine Colic

A workshop titled ‘Prevention and Control of Heatstroke and Equine Colic’ was held on 2 June at the Myanmar Equestrian Federation office in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, focusing on the prevention and control of horse heatstroke, urinary retention, constipation, and flatulence.
The workshop was attended by officials from the Myanmar Equestrian Federation, equestrians, equestrian athletes, those in livelihoods with horse care, horse owners, horse lovers, veterinary professionals, and other interested individuals.
The Myanmar Equestrian Federation aims to develop equestrian sports by continuously holding competitions and conducting technical courses related to equestrian sports.
On 8 and 9 June, basic and advanced course 1/2024 in horse care will be offered to 20 participants. — TWA/TH
