Myanmar Embassy in Beijing offers alms to monks visiting China

Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe and his wife, staff, and family members from the Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office are offering alms to Sayadaws, led by Secretary Venerable Bhaddanta Vasettha Bhivamsa of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee.

Myanmar’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China U Tin Maung Swe and his wife, Brig-Gen Zaw Zaw Naing, Military Attaché and his wife, staff, and family members of the Myanmar Embassy, along with the Military Attaché Office, offered lunch to 11 monks, led by the Secretary of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, Venerable Bhaddanta Vasettha Bhivamsa during their visit to China, at 11:00 am on 11 July 2024 at the Myanmar Embassy.
After lunch, Sayadaw Bhaddanta Vasettha Bhivamsa taught Buddha’s teachings and recited the Metta Sutta. Following that, the Ambassador, his wife, staff, and family members from the Myanmar Embassy and Military Attaché Office offered alms. — ASH/TH
