Myanmar delegation joins field visit of ASEAN-China Week 2024

the Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine participated in a field visit to prominent destinations and industries in Shanxi, China, from 13 to 15 August, together with ASEAN representatives.
On 13 August, they visited Tongtianxia, established in Chengzhi in 2014, and observed the viewpoint creations in that area.
Then, they studied the automatic LED production of Gaoke Huaye Group, the Victory car production of Chenggong Automobile and the exciting programmes of Chengzhi National Spring Park.
On 14 August, they proceeded to Shanxi. They observed Pingyao, the world heritage site, including the preservation of the ancient city, living cultures, banking and financial sector of China in the 19th century and early 20th century and the famous handicrafts of Pingyao.
In the evening, they enjoyed the cultural dance show that featured the history and culture of Shanxi.
On 15 August, they headed to Taiyuan, and they observed the role of the Qiao family in establishing trading and banking of China, living standards, tourist arrivals at the houses of the Qiao family, commodity production processes of Honghai and Donghu Vinegar Park.
The Myanmar delegation arrived back in Yangon on 16 August evening. — MNA/KTZH
