Myanmar claims 3 gold, 3 silvers in 18th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championship 2024

Myanmar bodybuilders earned three gold and three silver medals in the 18th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2024 held in Vientiane, Laos from 16 to 20 May.
In the Women’s Athletic Physique event, Myanmar’s Thei Wah won a gold medal while Viet Nam earned a silver medal and Laos achieved a bronze medal.
In the men’s Bodybuilding, Myanmar’s Tun Min Naing from 60 kilogramme event, Naing Min Thein from 70 kilogramme event, Aung Min Oo from 75 kilogramme event stood the fourth each whereas Myo Naing Tun from upper 75 kilogramme event finished as sixth place.
Myanmar’s Ko Ko Kyaw Phyo from won one gold in the men’s Athletic Physique Upper 175cm +6kg event while Than Htike Oo won another gold in men’s Sports Physique up to 170 cm -2 kg event on 19 May.
On the same day, Myanmar’s Khin Nilar Soe secured one silver medal in women’s Model Physique up to 160 cm event while Zue Zue Thant claimed another silver medal in women’s Model Physique over 165 am event. Team Myanmar will arrive back home on 20 May from the championship. — Arkar Lin/KZL
