Myanmar children in UK, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland have chance to pursue Myanmar cirriculum in 2023-24 AY

Myanmar school-age children living in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland for various reasons will have the chance to learn basic education in Myanmar curriculum from kindergarten to Grade-10 in 2023-2024 academic year, according to an announcement issued by Myanmar Embassy in London on 11 August.
By not later than 23 August, applicants must submit their applications to the Myanmar Embassy to the UK along with copies of their valid passports and those of their parents, as well as the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). If the applicant is attending a school, he or she must submit Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) and the similar document by the company if he or she is employed, the announcement said.
The students intending to enroll for KG must be already five years old by 31 May 2023 and those who want to enroll for other grades must submit their certificates of completion or a verification letter from a school they had enrolled before, it said.
The announcement also said that admitted students must sit for first term and final exams and the results will be issued for those who pass both exams. More information can be requested at [email protected]. — ASH/TH
