Myanmar beat Bangladesh 1-0 in Asian Games opener

Myanmar took its first victory after garnering a 1-0 triumph over Bangladesh in the Asian Games men’s football opener played in Hangzhou, China, yesterday.
The Myanmar team was able to win the opening match, but they struggled due to the response of the Bangladesh team and only got full points due to an own goal. As team Myanmar shaped their win, there is better hope to advance to the next round.
Myanmar tried to pressure from the start of the match, but the Bangladesh team was too strong. After failing to score a goal in the first half, in the 69th minute, Khun Kyaw Zin Hein’s cross was cleared by Bangladesh’s defender Hasan, who scored an own goal, and the Myanmar team won.
In the 75th minute, Myanmar defender Zwe Khant Min was sent off with a red card and it was difficult to control the winning result. The Bangladesh team had opportunities to equalize, but they could not use them, so the Myanmar team won.
