MSWRR Union Minister receives UNOCHA Head

Union Minister Dr Soe Win and Mr Sajjad Mohammad Sajid, Head of the UNOCHA in Myanmar, discuss at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received the delegation led by Mr Sajjad Mohammad Sajid, head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Myanmar, at the ministry yesterday.
They frankly exchanged views on the conditions of the process to sign the letter of agreement between the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), UNOCHA foreign employees’ entry issues and travel to regions and states, promotion issues of employee performance, planning of humanitarian aid to response operations to be carried out by UNOCHA and relevant ministries to coordinate with organizations in advance. — MNA/TS
