Myanmar female seafarers enjoy serving on cruise ships around the world.

Over 700 Myanmar female seafarers have been working on cruise ships worldwide since the year 2000, with about 60 more Myanmar women ready to serve, according to the Myanmar Seafarers Federation (MSF).
Myanmar women are employed as hotel staff on large cruise ships, and some female maritime staff have attended maritime courses offered by the Department of Maritime Administration to work with a sailor’s passport.
