MSF donates blood marking Seafarers’ Day 2024

The Myanmar Seafarers Federation (MSF) donated blood on 24 June in honour of International Seafarers’ Day 2024.
In observance of International Seafarers’ Day (Day of the Seafarer 2024) on 25 June, MSF donated blood at the National Blood Donation Centre.
“This type of blood donation benefits not only seafarers but everyone,” said MSF Chair Captain Soe Min Aung.
The executive committee of the Myanmar Seafarers Federation held its monthly meeting on 25 June 2024. The 6/2024 meeting addressed issues, including the budget, the sale of redundant items at the MSF office, challenges faced by seafarers regarding insurance, and other specific concerns.
The Myanmar Seafarers Federation is an organization that champions the rights and welfare of seafarers and also conducts training courses for them. — TWA/MKKS
