MR operates airbag express trains and express trains alternately on Yangon-Mawlamyine railway

Myanma Railways (MR) is running an airbag express train and an express train alternately every other day along Yangon-Mawlamyine railway, according to the chief superintendent of Mawlamyine station.
It is also reported that the airbag express train and regular express train are alternately operated along the route of 82-down train, which will depart from Mawlamyine for Yangon at 8:30 am.
The ticket prices for 82-down train trip, the upper class ticket price at the airbag express train is set at K11,000 and K6,000 for ordinary class and K10,000 for the upper class, and K5,000 for the ordinary class at the express train.
Yangon-Mawlamyine train tickets must be purchased one day in advance. Express train tickets are sold from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. In addition, it is also reported that upper class tickets can be purchased three days in advance, and ordinary tickets one day in advance. — ASH/TKO
