MoTC adds carp fingerlings into Ngaliteyarbar dam

The Ministry of Transport and Communication’s carp fingerlings releasing ceremony in progress at Ngaliteyarbar weir, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Ministry of Transport and Communication held a ceremony to add carp fingerlings into the Ngaliteyarbar weir, located west of the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee office, at 8 am yesterday.
State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo and wife, deputy ministers, the permanent secretary, departmental officials and their wives, staff and families attended the ceremony.
Led by the Deputy Prime Minister and his wife, deputy ministers and their wives first added golden carp fingerlings into the dam. Participating members and their families then released fingerlings into the dam.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications conducted the ceremony with the aim of recognizing the rich natural water resources and the potential for growth in the fisheries sector. The ministry released 100,000 golden carp fish into the dam, demonstrating their commitment to promoting a thriving fish population. — MNA/TRKM
