MoSWRR distributes healthcare items at IDP camps in Kachin, Shan

THE MINISTRY of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has provided healthcare items to the camps of internally displaced persons in the battle against COVID-19 in Kachin and Shan states.
The 15 IDP camps in Myitkyina, Mohnyin and Putao townships of Kachin State received 494 bottles of hand sanitizer, 50 bags of lime powder, 536 soaps, 11 sets of hand washing basin, 152 surgical masks, 3180 masks made by cloth, 10 thermometers, 10 loudspeakers, 10 memory sticks with audio files of COVID-19 awareness campaign and 10 vinyl sheets printed COVID-19 awareness campaign.
Similarly, the 10 IDP camps in Namtu, Namhkam townships of Shan State received 30 bags of lime powder, 5408 soaps and 10 thermometers.
The ministry is providing both material and immaterial supports in Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states to prevent and control of COVID-19 diseases. — MNA (Translated by TTN)
