MoSWRR distributes healthcare items at IDP camps in Kachin, Shan states

THE MINISTRY of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has provided healthcare items to the camps of internally displaced persons in the battle against COVID-19 in Kachin and Shan states.
The 18 IDP camps in Panwa and Phakant townships of Kachin State received 174 bottles of hand sanitizer, 3,993 soaps, 180 bags of lime powder, 20 thermometers, two sets of hand washing basin, 906 cloth face masks, 174 surgical masks, two hand speakers, two memory sticks with audio files of COVID-19 awareness campaign and two vinyl sheets printed COVID-19 awareness campaign.
Similarly, seven IDP camps in Namhkam, Kutkai and Namtu townships of Shan State received 3,916 cloth face masks and 824 bottles of hand gel.
The ministry is providing both material and immaterial supports in Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states to prevent and control of COVID-19 diseases. — MNA (Translated by TTN)
