Through Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), further up to 150 Myanmar EPS workers were sent to the Republic of Korea on 7 August, according to the Myanmar Embassy to the Republic of Korea.
New 153 manufacturing workers arrived in Incheon International Airport on 7 August from Yangon by Myanmar National Airlines charter flight UB 8301. The Labour Attache from Myanmar Embassy in Seoul welcomed workers and advised what they need to follow and provided necessary assistances, said the embassy.
New seven agriculture and livestock workers and 145 new manufacturing workers, totalling 152 were sent on 16 July and new 188 manufacturing workers were sent on 25 June under EPS system, according to statistics released by the embassy.
New 152 manufacturing workers on 21 May and new 146 manufacturing workers and new 24 agriculture and livestock workers, totalling 170 on 7 May were dispatched through POEA.
Total 421 EPS workers under E-9visa in April, total 862 EPS workers in March and total 1333 EPS workers under E-9 visa in February, were conveyed to the Republic of Korea, according to the embassy.
