More medical supplies arrive at Chinshwehaw border checkpoint

Medical supplies from China are being imported from the Myanmar-China border checkpoint in Chinshwehaw border gate, Laukkai Township, Kokang Self-Administered Zone, northern Shan State for use in the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 disease, officials said.
Yesterday, 2,500 packs of masks and 280 packs of 400 packs of Chinese-made “Lianhua Qingwen Capsules” were transported by two vehicles: one 22-wheeler and one six-wheeler.
Medical supplies such as 2,500 packs of masks and 280 packs of medicines imported from China through the Chinshwehaw land border were temporarily placed at Shwe Thanlwin Warehouse and Shwe Taw Win Warehouse in Shwe Ku Wa Village, Kunlong Township.
Through these warehouses, the medical products will be sent to Nay Pyi Taw, Lashio, Yangon and Mandalay, officials said.
From 15 to 20 July, a total of 7,320 40-litre oxygen tanks were imported from China through the Chinshwehaw border crossing.
It is reported that essential medical equipment including 11 Home Oxygen Concentrators; 5,395 packs of masks and 280 boxes of the pill have already arrived at Chinshwehaw land border. —Zin Zin (IPRD)/ GNLM
