MoRAC Union Minister receives Italian water expert

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin received Dr Massimo Sarti, an Italian water expert from the University of March from Italy, in Yangon yesterday.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the maintenance of water channels, dredging water canals so as not to affect the ancient buildings in case of natural disasters, drafting of a topographic map for waterways, restoration of lakes and dams in the cultural zone, reconnection of lakes and creeks, ancient lakes renovation plans, ongoing work processes and field study on water supply and drainage system of the Bagan era. — MNA/KTZH
