MoRAC Union Minister departs for Laos to attend ASCC Council Meeting

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin left for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic yesterday by air to attend the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council Meeting and related meetings which will be held on 12 and 13 August 2024, in Vientiane, Laos. Upon departure from Yangon, the delegation was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by officials from the ministry and Myanmar National Human Rights Commission.
During the trip, the Union minister is accompanied by Dr Daw Nanda Hmun, Vice Chair of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (ASCC Eminent Person) and delegates from MoRAC. — MNA/KZL
