MoNREC UM leaves for 3rd International Cooperation Forum in China

U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, led a Myanmar delegation to the Third International Cooperation Forum between the countries of Himalayan Mountains region. The delegation departed from Yangon yesterday afternoon for Nyingchi, People’s Republic of China, where the forum is scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 October.
The forum aims to foster cooperation and development among Himalayan region countries, harmonious development between humans and nature, and environmental conservation. Over 300 representatives from 12 countries are expected to participate in this significant event. — MNA/TS
