MoIP Union Minister observes registration process of Biometric data into e-ID cards & passports

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing and the team observed the Department of Citizenship and Immigration under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Minsk, Belarus, yesterday morning. Department Head Colonel Starikovich Mikhail Vladimirovich explained that the National Database had been collated and the Central Control and Command System of Belarus has been established, incorporating the necessary management processes required for the system.
The registration operation had been completed as per the specifications of national verification registration documents with a biometric system. Practical demonstrations were provided to explain the procedural steps involved in creating a passport using an e-ID card and biometric information.
Subsequently, he and his team examined the Forensic Science Systems, which verify the accuracy of personal information entered in e-ID cards and passports. In the afternoon, they proceeded to visit the cryptotech personal data protection and registration centre, which is under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, located in Minsk. — MNA/KZW
