MoHT DM receives PRC delegation

U Phyo Zaw Soe, Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism received the delegation led by Chairman of the Goverment of Xizang Autonomous Region of China Mr Yan Jinhai yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they discussed the issues in a friendly and open manner such as Chinese tourists visiting the destinations in Myanmar, granting Visas on Arrival, media in China, Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) involving tourism operators Influencers, Bloggers, tourism cooperation between Myanmar and China, tourism promotion activities, exchange of visits between tourism destinations of Xizang Autonomous Region and Myanmar, pilgrimage cooperation, incoming investment in the hotels and tourism sector in Myanmar, and regarding the continued close cooperation in the development of tourism between the two countries.
After the meeting, the Deputy Minister hosted a working lunch to the delegation led by the Chairman of the Xizang autonomous province.
The delegation visited the tourist attraction destinations in Nay Pyi Taw during the trip and an official visit to Myanmar is intended to increase cooperation in the fields of tourism and culture between the Xizang Autonomous Region of China and Myanmar. — MNA/TS
