MoCRD Deputy Minister inspects rehabilitation processes

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe and officials inspected the rehabilitation works of office buildings and staff housing damaged by Cyclone Mocha on 19 May.
The deputy minister arrived at the office of the Cooperative Department in Sittway township and instructed responsible persons to carry out speedy cleaning works and fulfilled the necessary things in rehabilitation processes.
In addition, the deputy minister coordinated the arrangement of drinking water supply conducted by the Rural Development Department.
The Department of Rural Development has reportedly sent the mobile purified water truck from Ayeyawady Region to Sittway to ensure no drinking water shortage in Sittway township.
Afterwards, the deputy minister met the staff from the Weaving School in Sittway township and inspected the damage of the Rural Development Department, the Small-Scale Industries Department and the Rural Road Development Department. — MNA/MKKS
