Malicious news media are spreading false information that residents of Myathida Village were injured when security forces launched heavy weapons on villages in Singu Township, Mandalay Region, on 23 June.
According to a report from a responsible citizen who does not want violence, the actual situation is that PDF terrorists arrived and gathered at around 10 pm on 23 June to carry out terror acts in some villages in Singu Township.
A security officer said that the security forces fired heavy weapons at the places where terrorists gathered, and terrorists were killed and fled. Still, there were no injuries to the local people. These terrorists arrested and killed one innocent person from Kyitaukpauk Village, Singu Township, on 22 June. Subversive media intentionally fabricate and spread false information that contradicts the ground situation to cover up terror acts and mislead the public about the security forces. — MNA/KZL
