Ayeyarwaddy Times has spread false information on social networking sites that only departmental offices and business operators in Wakema, Ayeyawady Region, receive electricity regularly, while other urban areas are supplied with electricity alternately.
Regarding the news, an official from Wakema said that electricity is regularly supplied to public service offices and departments, including hospitals, dispensaries, schools, and other places in a rotating system. No entrepreneurs have to pay money to get electricity supply.
Terrorists have detonated electricity supply facilities and electricity towers, intending to harm the socioeconomic life of the people and destroy the stability of the region. The malicious media is spreading fake news about the electricity supply. — MNA/KZL
