Misinformation: Tatmadaw allegedly forces 30 people per ward into People’s Military Service in Mandalay

The subversive media outlets are intentionally spreading misinformation, claiming that Tatmadaw forcefully collected 30 people per ward to serve in the People’s Military in Mandalay City.
Concerning the news, according to a responsible official of the relevant summoning People’s Military servants body, the news is not accurate. Officials are only acting according to the laws that have been enacted regarding the People’s Military Service Law.
Since the implementation of the People’s Military Service Law, there have been reports of misinformation circulating on social media. These unsubstantiated claims, likely spread by those opposed to community stability, only aim to frighten the public with false information. — MNA/TRKM
