The Ayeyarwaddy Times distributed a make-up news story that a resident of a Pathein township village said each village was instructed to register three people each from villages for militia training in Pathein township.
According to an enquiry to a relevant official about the matter, no instruction has been given to conduct militia training to village-tract in Pathein Township and other townships, as malicious media are spreading false information to create public fear and misrepresentation. — MNA/KZL
