MGMA invites applications for product sample show in Apparel Sourcing Paris

Myanmar pavilion joined Apparel Sourcing Paris 2023 in France.

Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) has invited applications for product samples to be exhibited in Apparel Sourcing Paris which will be held in Paris, France.

Organized by Messe Frankfurt, the fabric exhibition will take place from 1-3 July 2024 in Paris.  Myanmar pavilion will join at the event. Myanmar pavilion will feature institutional booth in which MGMA booth and 3 member factory booths will be exhibited, MGMA said in a statement.

As a business group, MGMA will promote Myanmar’s garment industry with Myanmar pavilion as well as with its member companies’ owned exhibition booths, it said.

MGMA has invited applications to garment manufacturers to join MGMA booth with their selected product samples, and a company can showcase two to five numbers of their product samples. Factories will have to deliver their product samples by DHL express to Paris and incur  delivery charge. If there are too many applications, MGMA will select only 2 samples for each factory and after the event ends, product samples will not be re-sent to Yangon from Paris, it said.

Applications will have to submit by 5 June, along with 2-5 photos of product sample and delivery of product samples can be made by 11 June.

In September 2016, the fabric show invited more than 400 participants from 15 countries, in which the majority were ASEAN countries. In February 2017, it attracted 13,599 enthusiastic participants including brand decision-makers and representatives. This is the fifth time that MGMG joined it since 2017. The Apparel Sourcing Paris is the Europe’s top trading source which can widely pave the way for opportunities in making and supplying knitwear, casual wear, sportswear, outwear and corporate wear, and it is an exhibition where customers can choose from ready-to-wear men clothing, women clothing, kid wear, casual wear to luxury clothing brands.
