Medical universities’ admissions open for 2024 matric exam top scorers

The Ministry of Health announced that admissions to Medical Universities, the University of Dental Medicine and various medical related universities are open for the 2024 matriculation exam’s outstanding students.
Top achievers in 2024 matriculation exams can now apply for medical universities operated under the Department of Human Resources for Health along with a prescribed application form issued by the Department of Higher Education.
Those students who give their priorities to the University of Pharmacy, University of Medical Technology, University of Nursing and the University of Community Health must also submit application forms to the 23 designated universities under the Ministry of Education.
For those who prioritize medical universities and universities of dental medicine they can directly send their forms to the Department of Human Resources for Health (Nay Pyi Taw), University of Medicine 1 (Yangon), University of Medicine 2 (Yangon), University of Medicine (Mandalay), University of Medicine (Magway), University of Medicine (Taunggyi), University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) and University of Dental Medicine (Mandalay).
Requirements for medical university acceptance are mentioned in the university admission handbook. Students are advised to read thoroughly before applying to universities. Medical universities will accept application forms from 26 August to 12 September, including weekends and public holidays, according to the Ministry of Healt. — NN/KK
