Maritime, aerial warnings released for maritime security exercise

The Maritime Security Exercise will be launched from 7 to 9 November 2023 in the northern waters of the Andaman Sea and it will include sea, aerial and underwater exercises and live firing missions.
The exercise area where the coordinates are drawn is 11° 51′ of north latitude and 96° 40′ of east longitude for Point A, 11° 51′ of north latitude and 97° 40′ of east longitude for Point B, 12° 51′ of north latitude and 96° 40′ of east longitude for Point C and 12° 51′ of north latitude and 97° 40′ of east longitude Point D and the maritime warning and aerial warning have been announced.
During maritime security exercises, the movement of large and small ships are not allowed within five miles of the area and aircraft and helicopters should not fly below 15,000 feet over the area. — TWA/KTZH
