Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung received Ms Gao Ping, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Mandalay, at the Mandalay Region government office yesterday.
They cordially discussed measures of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.
They then exchanged gifts.
Relevant officials of the Mandalay Region government and the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Mandalay were also present at the event. — MNA/KTZH
