Magway Region approves new investment in July, creating 11 jobs

According to the Magway Region Government, a new Myanmar citizen-owned investment was approved in July 2024, leading to the creation of 11 new jobs.
“At the Magway Region Investment Committee meeting 6/2024 held on 26 July, an investment by a Myanmar citizen in the industrial production sector was approved. The capital for this new investment is US$1.3 million and K5,833.814 million. It will generate 11 job opportunities,” said a member of the Magway Region Government Committee.
The report highlights an increase in both existing and new investment amounts, as well as a rise in the workforce during this period. The Magway Region Investment Committee reviews and approves new Myanmar citizen and foreign investments monthly, in accordance with laws, rules, and regulations, to foster job creation within the region. — ASH/ TMT
