MAEX to pay share dividends for 2023-2024 FY

Myanmar Agro Exchange Public Co Ltd decided on 25 June to disburse K200 share dividends per unit to its security holders for the 2023-2024 financial year, MAEX declared.
The board of directors’ meeting on 21 June 2024 resolved the dividend amount, depending on the financial statement dated 31 March 2024. Share dividend payments will be paid out at the eighth annual general meeting that is scheduled to be held virtually on 27 August 2024.
The last day to trade for those stockholders who are entitled to receive share dividends is 22 July 2024, and the YSX record date is 25 July 2024. The eligible shareholders for the upcoming share dividends will be identified as per the record date.
The financial statement for the 2023-2024 FY was disclosed on 25 June 2024, MAEX declared.
The payment day will be published after the eighth annual general meeting.
The ex-dividend date is one day before the record date, according to the trading date (T+3 Settlement). The last day to trade is three business days prior to the record date. Investors buying shares on this previous day can receive dividends. An investor who buys shares two days before the record date is unable to receive a share dividend.
Shareholders on the record date are entitled to receive dividends and voting rights to be exercised at the company’s Annual General meeting. — NN/EM
