Kayin State Chief Minister provides foodstuffs, social pensions to people in Kayin State

Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo presents social pensions for the elderly 85 and above yesterday.

A ceremony to give social pensions to people aged 85 and above in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State, was held in the hall of the office of the Township General Administration Department on 24 February morning.
Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo delivered an opening speech and gave social pensions to the Hlaingbwe township administrator for elder people who are 85 and above. For the elder people who are unable to attend the ceremony, officials will personally go to their homes and will hand over their pensions.
After that, the ceremony of providing foodstuffs, clothes, cleaning accessories, funds for building houses for temporary IDPs and social pensions for elder people was held at the Myaing Gyi Ngu Aye Lin Thaya field. At the ceremony, the state chief minister gave an opening speech. State minister and wife, members of the state government and their wives and Lt-Col Saw Kyaw Htoo of Border Guard Force Central Advisory Group gave cash assistance, foodstuffs and clothes to the IPDs from Myaing Gyi Nguu special region and Phapon township. — Saw Myo Min Thein (IPRD)/KZW
