Daw Khin Thuzar, Head of the Department of Social Welfare in Magway Region, stated that they have donated K1 million to Daw Chaw Yin aged 123, the oldest grandmother of Myanmar, who lives in Magway.
The donation was made at the International Elderly Day Celebration in Magway Region on 1 October.
At the ceremony, 70 elderly grandfolks in Magway Region were given cash assistance and homage gifts. In addition, the Magway Region Health Department provided healthcare services to them. — ASH/CT
