Japan used toys have been in high demand in the market, according to used toys trading community.
In imported Japan-made toys market, there are two categories- new toys and used toys and of these, used toys have been in high demand.
“There are two categories- new toys and used toys in the toy market. Used toys are a little expensive but they have high quality. Toys made of textile which would not harm children, especially cartoon characters, have been highly demanded. Some cartoon characters are a little expensive but their quality is premium, The material used in Japan toys look like almost real. Children like them. There are also China-made cartoon characters but Japan’s quality is better,” said an official from May Thamee Toy World Japan used toys shop.
Prices range from K2000 to about K20000 to the maximum.
“Prices vary. Sometimes, even big-sized toys can be available at K4000-K5000, so it is considered very cheap. Some are priced at K15000-K20000 to the maximum,” he said.
Some parents who can afford to a certain extent buy their children Japan used toys.
“Parents buy Japan used toys because their prices are lower and they are also durable,” said a Japan-used toys seller.
