Japan to feature star players in match against Myanmar

Japan’s national team head coach Moriyasu announced the list of 26 players for the remaining two group matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers to be played in June, including the Myanmar team.
Tomiyasu from Arsenal FC, Endo from Liverpool FC, Kamada from Lazio FC, Minamino from Monaco FC, Kubo from Real Sociedad, and Ueda from Feyenoord FC will join the Japanese squad.
Japan fell in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group B with North Korea and Syria, winning all four matches in the group and already advancing to the next stage. Team Japan will take on an away match against Myanmar on 6 June and Syria at home on 11 June.
